Occasionally candidates feel that there has been an anomaly with their GCSE or A-level results. Candidates have the following options available to them [click on each to find out more]:
review of marking
return of exam papers, or a copy of exam papers
There is a charge by the exam boards for such enquiries. However, the charge for a review of marking is refunded if an error has been made by the exam board that results in the changing of the candidate's overall grade.
Exam board certificates are available from the December following the completion of the qualification. Candidates need to collect these from school. They are not the same as the results notification sheets that are available on results day. Students will need exam board certificates as proof of their qualifications for their future careers.
