KS4 Options Pathways

This area of the website has been updated for the 2022/23 options process, for KS4 courses beginning in September 2023. Please use the menu to the left or above to find out more about the process and to access information about the courses in your recommended pathway. This recommendation is included in the email sent to parents on 16th January.

Virtual Pathways Evening

In addition to the 'in person' pathways evening on 19th January, these videos will explain the approach that we take to options for Years 9, 10 and 11, and will guide parents and students through the process of making choices. They were originally created for cohorts unable to attend an evening in school but have been updated for the current Year 8 cohort:

You can ask a question about pathways or courses offered through this website, or by contacting the KS3 office. The 'remote' Year 8 parents evenings on 1st and 2nd February will enable you to discuss your / your child's progress with subject teachers and their suitability for different courses offered. Details about how to make appointments will be emailed to parents.

Further information around careers can be found through Unifrog. Students have their own login to this excellent platform. A brief powerpoint presentation linking careers to option subjects can be found via the link on the left menu.
