Key Stage 5 Administration Assistant
We are seeking to appoint a Key Stage 5 Administration Assistant to provide comprehensive clerical and administrative support to the Key Stage in a wide range of tasks. The successful candidate will be organised, an effective communicator with an ability to work with young people and be proficient in Microsoft Office. A working knowledge of SIMS is desirable although training will be available. You should be able to work as part of a team, whilst also having the ability to work under pressure using your own initiative. This post involves playing a key role in day to day school life.
Working hours: 37 hours per week - term time plus 5 TEDs + 2 days (GCSE and A ‘level results days)
Salary: Scale 4 (Spinal Point 17-11 £20,444 FTE - £22,129 FTE)
Start date: 1 September 2022

Learning Support Assistant
We are seeking to appoint a caring, dedicated Learning Support Assistant (Teaching Assistant) to join our Aspire@Hanley team. The successful candidate will work closely with the SENCO, Deputy SENCo and Senior LSA to implement the whole-school SEND strategy and ensure that Quality First Teaching is delivered to students with SEND.
Working hours: 20-25 hours permanent contract, to be worked over a minimum of 4 days, term time only plus 5 TED Days.
Salary: SC1 £18,333 FTE

ICT Systems Administrator
Hanley and Upton Educational Trust (HUET) is looking to recruit a full time ICT Systems Administrator to assist with the maintenance of the HUET ICT Network and equipment. The role will support the IT Systems Manager in delivering technical support to all users in the schools, and assist in both maintenance of existing equipment and installation of new hardware and software across the network. The role will also involve supporting and providing the application and development of IT technology within an educational environment.
The successful candidate will have experience in a customer service ICT role, have strong technical skills including Microsoft products and experience of computer networks installation and maintenance.
The post will primarily be based at Hanley Castle High School but will include travel to, and work within, the different school locations.
Working hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
Salary: £22,571 - £24,920 dependent on experience.

Temporary Cover Supervisor
We are seeking to appoint a Temporary Cover Supervisor, for one year in the first instance, to supervise pre-prepared lessons in the absence of a teacher. The successful candidate will maintain a purposeful learning atmosphere and keep students on task, as well as have a passion for helping young people reach their full potential.
Salary range: £15,359.10 to £18,721.82 (based on 32.5 hours, term-time only)
Hours: 32.5 hours per week. Monday-Friday 8.30am-3.30pm. Term time only plus 5 TED days

Hanley Castle High School, part of Hanley & Upton Education Trust, is looking to recruit an enthusiastic person to join our highly valued site team. The individual will provide a clean and pleasant environment in order to facilitate the effective use of the school by those staff and pupils who occupy it.
Hours: 15 hours per week , 4.00pm-7.00pm Monday to Friday. Term-time only plus 20 days in the holidays.
Salary: £10.19 per hour.
