The Malvern Festival of Innovation
On the 8th of October 2019, 15 students from Year 9 went on a trip to the Three Counties Showground and attended the Malvern Festival of Innovation.
During this event, we were able to explore a range of activities and games all themed around STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). These included: virtual reality headsets, a 3D printer, a cricket simulator, a 360° planetarium, a Tesla Model 3 display and so much more!
There were also several companies there like the IET, Cyber discovery, Mazak, Collate Loop and many more. Finally, there was a talk about global warming and ways we can reduce greenhouse gases by Yasmin Ali, a Chemical Engineer.
