Young Writers' Competition Success

23 pupils from Mrs Rees' Year 8 English class have been successful with their entries for the Young Writers' Competition, "Twisted Tales."

They each wrote an original 100 word mini saga, offering a different perspective on a villainous literary character.

They started the entries in class last term and the pupils worked really hard on drafting and editing them until they were polished pieces. Mrs Rees posted the entries off in the last week of term.

We are thrilled that they will now be published in an anthology in March (and we will get a free copy for the library).

Each pupil has received a bookmark and certificate for being a successful entrant.
